A HaLow Installation Proposal for an Operating Klang Valley Warehouse

01 · Background

Where the retrofit has to fit

A warehouse solar retrofit has to fit around receiving and dispatch. This proposal considers a Klang Valley building where a new communication cable would cross a loading area and an already crowded riser. The scope is to assess an AWT100-AP/WFH wireless section between compatible serial equipment, with installation and later maintenance planned around warehouse access.

Why the shortest line on a drawing is rarely the easiest route

The shortest line on a drawing may be a poor route on site. Cable work can require access above active loading lanes or through fire compartments. Moving to wireless introduces another question: can the antennas be installed in suitable positions and reached later without disrupting dispatch? Metal cabinets and changing stock levels also need to be considered before the route is accepted.

Existing metalwork matters. Antenna access matters. A working-site test matters.
